Lazarus Phenomenon - When the dead come back to life
Death is such a truth that cannot be changed because everyone has to face this bitter truth once in their life. But what if one day a person's heart stops beating and he declared dead and says goodbye to this physical world, and then suddenly something miraculous happens that no one would have ever imagined. What if that dead person suddenly rises from the lap of death, it sounds a bit strange to hear, because we all know that once someone dies, he never comes back again. But what many of us do not know, is that it is not impossible to get life back after death, because many such incidents have happened in human history where the dead person has come back to life again. Many of you may have heard many such stories, but why does this happen, and what is the reason that causes such miracles? And with whom such incidents happen, what do they really experience during these miraculous journeys. The name of such a hidden secret in all these questions is the Lazarus Phenomenon.
Since 1982, at least 38 cases of Lazarus Phenomenon or Lazarus Syndrome have been published in the Medical Journals. But the actual count of the occurrence of this mysterious phenomenon is many more than that. This unusual incident of being resurrected after being strangled to death derives its name from Saint Lazarus, who was resurrected by Jesus four days after his death. Therefore, the Saint Lazarus name is used to describe such incidents. In 2014, a 91-year-old Polish woman, Janina Kolkiewicz was brought to the emergency ward of the hospital, where doctors declared her dead after conducting some necessary medical examination and her dead body was kept in the hospital mortuary. But after about eleven hours, that woman awoke once again in the hospital mortuary, not in the form of a ghost, but as a living person. Seeing the movement in the body bag, the hospital staff got very scared, but then hurriedly she was pulled out of the body bag, and then once again her medical examination was done. But surprisingly, her body was working perfectly despite being dead for 11 hours, and even all the organs of her body were functioning normally, while it is theoretically impossible to do so. After death, that is, after the body becomes completely inactive, blood starts to coagulate in the body's veins and brain, and takes the form of blood clots. At the same time, our body gets into the process of decomposition of internal organs, but nothing like this happened in the case of Janina Kolkiewicz, as no organ of her body was malfunctioning. What happened between these 11 hours and what condition she was in and how she felt just before she died. She had no answer to these questions, as she did not remember anything regarding that time.
Another such incident also emerged from Pakistan, where 50-year-old Rasheeda Bibi was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in Karachi, where doctors declared her dead and also issue a death certificate to her family. Her dead body is brought home and her funeral was being arranged. In Islam, it is customary to bathe the dead body before burial, which is called Ghusl. This ritual practice on Rasheeda Bibi's dead body was being performed when the people present there saw some movement in her body, then immediately her pulse was checked. People found that she was alive again, soon after that, she was taken to the hospital again and treated there. Another similar case was found in Chandigarh, India, where a 45-year-old woman was declared dead twice by two different hospitals, but shortly after her death, the woman was found alive again. However, after undergoing treatment for two hours, she died again.
In all of these incidents, the experience that people who came alive after death shared was usually the same. Either they do not remember anything, or just before they die, they saw their whole life and some special moments of life in front of their eyes in a moment. And then after death, they see a dark tunnel, at the other end of which there is immense light and on reaching it, there is a feeling of infinite bliss. These people tell that they feel as if they have felt so light and disease less for the first time. They felt positiveness and peace all around, for them it was such a state from which they never wanted to come back. In many cases, people who died and became alive also presented disappointment, they said that experience afterlife was more pleasant than life. On the other hand, if these incidents are seen with medical explanation, then doctors call this type of incident "autoresuscitation after failed cardiopulmonary resuscitation", that is, after CPR's (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) unsuccessful attempt, the heart suddenly starts beating again. However, no one knows the exact reason, why it happens, and how it happens. But to get more information on this subject, many organizations are researching such incidents.
In the medical field, there are two stages of death, the first is Clinical death, and the second is Biological death. Clinical death is a condition where the rest of the body has stopped functioning but our brain still remains active to some extent. This period is usually up to 5 to 7 minutes and this is the time between which a patient can be brought back from death. If the right steps are taken at the right time immediately after clinical death, in many cases the patient's life can be saved. But after passing the time of 5 to 7 minutes, the person reaches the state of Biological Death, from which it is impossible to return. But beyond these theories of medical science, these incidents of Lazarus syndrome make it clear that there are many secrets in the journey between the end of life and the beginning of death, which even our medical science does not know. In other words, we can say that this secret is far beyond the reach of every living person in the world.
