The Giant Cracks In The Earth's Surface
There is a saying that when sin increases on the earth, the earth starts bursting, and something similar is happening in this Kali Yuga (last of the four ages or yugas). For the last few decades, there have been terrible news of the Earth bursting from some different parts of the world. The sudden burst of huge cracks in the earth, is this a God's way of changing the Earth dramatically? But sometimes it seems that this is a warning given to us by the Earth as the Earth itself is undergoing dramatic changes in current and modern lifestyles. Today several huge cracks have started appearing in many different parts around the world.
You are probably aware of the large, wide, and massive crack in Ethiopia in 2005 that formed without any earthquake. This crack was 35 miles long, and 20 feet wide at some spots. Some geologists believe that this rift is a sign of the birth of another ocean and this new ocean would separate eastern Africa from the rest of the continent in the next few million years. But Ethiopia rift is not the only major rift in recent times and it is not the only country in eastern Africa to have such major cracks. In early 2018, a new crack emerged in Kenya, just about 97 kilometers west of its capital city of Nairobi. This crack is about 50 feet deep and almost 65 feet wide at some points.
Something similar was also seen in Peru, where the crack was more than 100 meters wide and about 15 km long, destroying several homes and threatening fields and the life of dozens of residents. Similarly, a giant crack has also been seen in the Hawaiian islands, known as the Great Crack of Kilauea, which is really impressive in size, measuring 8 miles long, 60 feet wide, and 60 feet deep in the surface of the earth.
One such strange crack appeared in Michigan in October 2010, extending some 360 feet long and 5 feet deep opened up in the forest in Menominee, Michigan, which is now spreading even more and becoming bigger. This incident occurred when people heard the sound of boom near Birch Creek, and when they woke up the next morning, they found a huge crack in the ground. People living nearby say that they always hear the sound of the boom and when they see it later, there is always a crack that pushes the trees sideways by separating them from their roots. According to them, the hot steam is always coming out from inside this crack.
Geologists say that these cracks are occurring due to the weak grip inside the earth's surface and this is an indication that there is an upheaval process going on in the womb of the earth, due to which the rapid formation of such sinkholes are becoming a common thing. In some places, these small cracks are turning into giant canyons and earthquakes are not always the main reason behind their formation.
