Letta the Doll is considered the most haunted in the paranormal community. At first glance, this doll looks very scary and intimidating, with black long hair, big eyes, a big nose, and a strange-looking smile on its face. The doll first claims to have found in an abandoned building in 1972 in Wagga Wagga in Australia, a major regional city in the Riverina region of New South Wales. This ruined building was known for its horrifying stories, the year was 1970, this was the decade when the people there had full faith in such things. As they went inside the building, they saw some frightening scene there, at first glance they felt as if they had seen the corpse of a small child. The two brothers looked at each other and when the feeling of curiosity turned into fear, they did not even realize that. When Kerry Walton looked a little closer, he found something relaxed, because it was just a doll. He picked up that doll and started laughing, both of them brought that doll with them to Brisbane. Kerry Walton showed this doll to his family and narrated the whole incident, when her family saw the doll for the first time, they were scared because the doll had a horrifying smile on its face that seemed a bit strange. Walton's family requested him to take the doll back to the place he had brought it from, but Kerry did not agree and decided to keep that doll with him. A few days passed, and one day that happened what Walton's family feared, Kerry was doing some work alone at home when he heard the sound of someone walking from the nearby room. He went to see if any animal came into the house but there was no one, there he saw only that doll in one corner of the room. Kerry left the room door open and went to do his work, but when he heard the sound again, he turned towards the room and what he saw, yet he could not forget it. He saw a shadow moving there, he was quite surprised to see this and when he went into that room and saw, the doll was still lying in the same place.

He did not understand what really happened there, but as he proceeded to turn off the light, he noticed the floor. There were marks of wood rubbing on the floor, which could be seen clearly on that doll's wooden shoe. Kerry had a bunch of questions arisen in his mind, such as how could an inanimate object move, is there any spirit in this doll who has possessed it or is it only an illusion. Immersed in this thought, Kerry, switched off the light and went towards his room. A few more days passed, and these incidents had become a common practice in Kerry's house, sometimes this doll was seen moving in front of them, and sometimes it was seen staring at them. Kerry also told about an incident in one of his TV interviews that one day we family members were talking to each other in our house and this doll was also with us in the same room. All the family members felt that this doll was staring at them while they were all sitting in different directions, so how can a doll stare at everyone at the same time when all were in different directions. That was really a shocking thing. Kerry also stated that his dog always barked at this doll as if it was barking at an unknown person and as soon as he came near this doll, he used to have a fierce nature and always attacked it.

It is also stated that the people who tried to make this doll sit with them, either their health deteriorated or they became restless. Many paranormal investigators have also done their research on the doll which revealed that this doll contains the spirit of a child who died years ago by drowning in water and this doll was made for him. That boy always kept this doll with him and even Kerry could never separate this doll from himself. He says that this doll does not want him to leave it, and it hasn't hurt me to this day, so I don't want it to be separated from me. Even today Kerry remains safe with this doll and he named the doll "Letta Me Out" because of its supposedly supernatural characteristics.

Pupa the Doll

The pupa is an Italian word that means 'doll'. This 14-inch doll in height was gifted to an Italian girl in 1920 and from 1920 to 2005 the doll remained with her. The girl considered Pupa as her best friend and often told people that this doll is alive and talks to her. Not only this, the girl says that she shares all her secrets with this doll and in return, this doll also tells a lot about herself to her. She even claimed that when she was very ill in childhood, this doll saved her from dying. She used to take Pupa with her wherever she went, besides this doll, her second-best friend was her grandmother, but during World War 2 she passed away. And in her memory, that girl threaded a button from her grandmother's favorite dress in this doll's dress. That girl and Pupa stayed with each other for the rest of her life and she always treated Pupa as a living human and this seemed very strange to her family. While on one side, the pupa looked very cute and cheerful to that girl, on the other side, her family found this doll very strange and scary.

Pupa's owner died in 2005 and after that, the doll was kept in a glass box by her family members, but it was from here that the doll began to reveal its reality. Family members said that Pupa used to change her position constantly, sometimes her hands were straight, and sometimes she crossed both her hands. Not only this, they have heard such sounds many times, as if someone is knocking from inside that glass box as if that doll is trying to attract the attention of people. The most strange thing they noticed in this doll was that after the death of its owner and after placing it in a glass box, there has been a lot of change in the pupa's facial expressions over the years. According to the family, earlier this doll seemed to be smiling, but now there is a sense of sadness on the doll's face. One day they noticed that the condition of the box is very bad, the box is very dirty outside and there were a lot of stains and spots on it. But when an attempt was made to clean the box, they found that the stains on the box were not from the outside, but from the inside. Whenever we are cleaning a glass item, we habitually collect fog on the glass with our warm breaths and then clean it.

The brother of Pupa's owner, who was cleaning that box, did the same thing, but as soon as the dew on the glass accumulated, he saw some words written on the glass box. It was written "Pupa Hate". These words were inscribed in some way as if a small child had written these words with his little fingers. This incident proved that there is definitely something in Pupa that needed to be examined from a paranormal point of view. After that, the family donated this doll to a person, who was an expert in investigating paranormal activities. And since then until today, neither this doll nor that paranormal expert was found.

Okiku Doll

Beautiful in appearance, Japanese traditional clothes, and long hair, the Okiku doll can captivate the viewer with its beauty. The doll is said to have haunted, which is locked in a wooden box of Mannenji Temple in Hokkaido, Japan, where it is claimed that its human-like hair is growing year after year. In 1918, Eikichi Suzuki, a 17-year-old boy, saw a 40 cm tall doll, dressed in kimono-style clothes and had black short-haired up to the shoulders. Upon seeing Doll, he got a thought of his younger sister, Okiku, and bought this doll for her. Okiku was very impressed by this doll and she used to play with it all day. She even used to sleep with it, as every little child does with their toys. But unfortunately, Okiku died and this is where the strange activities of this doll started. 

Because that little girl loved this doll so much, her parents decided to keep this doll at home and worship it. They felt that by doing so they would be able to connect with their little girl, so they named this doll after their daughter "Okiku". A few days passed and their attention was focused on a strange thing, that Okiku's hair was growing on, whereas the hair of this doll was up to the shoulder. How could it be possible that some inanimate object has become alive? They had many thoughts running through their mind, such as Okiku's spirit or some other demonic force controlling the doll that was letting it do so. And these thoughts also surrounded them in the shadow of fear. To overcome this fear, they went to the priest of Mannenji Temple and gave this doll to the temple. Even today this doll is present in a wooden box in that temple. It is said that this doll was also scientifically examined and what revealed out of it was even more terrible and frightening.

Investigation revealed that the doll's hair is actually from a human girl, but when this doll was purchased there was nothing like that. So how did these hairs completely transform into human hair? The most frightening thing is that the hair of this doll is still growing and now it has reached its knees, while the priest of the temple regularly trims Okiku's still-growing hair. Not only this, the priest says that if you look at its mouth carefully, you will see even human teeth which were not there at all till some time back.

What are fairies?

Fairies have actually been very popular in Celtic, Slavic, German, English, and French folklore from the very beginning. They have a human-like appearance, but they are small in size and also have wings that allow them to fly in the air. Through centuries, various kinds of diminutive fairies have been reported, ranging from quite tiny to the size of a human. They also have many magical powers, due to which some people are often searching for them. There are very few beliefs about their origins, but the presence of their stories around the world since ancient times reflects the truth of their existence. Historians say that fairy tales from the countries of the Western culture have spread all over the world, but fairy sculptures have also been found in different parts of the world, which are thousands of years old. In Christian tradition, Fairies are usually considered demoted angels or demons. According to a story in the Christian tradition, a group of angels was revolting against God, and God ordered the gate of heaven to be closed. In such a situation, the angels who were inside heaven remained angels, those who were in hell became devils and those caught in between became fairies.

Fairies are not only imaginary or historical creatures but even today there are stories of encountering them. Fairies live in remote areas where human movement is very less, though there are stories of their existence in many places in the world. But usually, they make their habitat near such a place where natural beauty remains at its peak states, such as waterfalls, lakes, hills, or stone or grass circles. 

A strange phenomenon occurs in the desert of Namibia, which is linked to the existence of fairies. In this desert, grass grows around barren circular patches, varying between 7 and 49 ft in diameter, and scientists do not have any answer to this strange phenomenon, but according to the locals, it is the work of fairies. This is the reason why these strange shapes are called Fairy circles. King James had shown special interest in the Fairies and had encountered fairies many times, according to him, fairies are illusory spirits (demonic entities) that lead people into an unknown world. There are several thousand stories of fairies encounters but today we will look at some special stories.

Cottingley Fairies Mystery

Evidence of fairies first began to be found in the 19th century. In 1917, Frances Griffiths moved with her mother to her aunt's house in Cottingley, Yorkshire. There also lived Elsie, cousin of Frances. It was a big house with a beautiful garden at the back. The two girls often went to play together beside the beck (stream) at the bottom of the garden, but their mothers did not like it because both of them often used to come back after dirtying their clothes in the mud. On asking, both of them used to answer that they go there only to meet the fairies, at first, the family took their words as a fantasy, but the topic did not end there. Elsie's father, Arthur, was an amateur photographer, and the craze of the camera was very much in those days among people. He had also set up his own darkroom in his house to develop photographs. One day Elsie took the camera from her father and both girls went to the garden. After about 30 minutes they returned, but this time with the evidence of fairies.

On developing the picture, fairies also appeared with Frances, the family members were surprised to see the picture. But Elsie's father had been in that house for so long and he had never seen a Fairy, so he could not trust this picture and dismissed the figure as cardboard cutouts. Two months later, Elsie again asked for the camera from her father, and this time a picture of Elsie with the fairies appeared, sitting on the lawn holding out her hand to a 1-foot-tall creature. Elsie's father felt that maybe they had tampered with his camera in some way and then refused to lend it to them again. But Elsie's mother believed the photographs to be authentic.

In mid-1919 Elsie's mother arrived at a meeting of the Theosophical Society in Bradford, where the evening lecture was about "fairy life". She showed the two fairy photographs in the meeting that were taken by her daughter and niece. A few months later, these photographs were displayed at the society's annual conference in Harrogate, where these photographs came to the attention of  Edward Gardner, a leading member of the society. Edward Gardner used to research mysterious things and was greatly influenced by these photographs. He sent the prints along with the original glass-plate negatives to his friend, Harold Snelling, who was a photography expert. Snelling thoroughly scrutinized the photographs and told the Gardner that none of these photographs had been tampered with, it was absolutely genuine that the girls might have captured the real fairies. Also, at that time it was not easy to tamper with photographs and editing techniques were also very limited. The two sisters took pictures of some other fairies even after this, but some people do not trust this evidence because the fairies are not exposed to every human being and in this case, they were only visible to both these girls. Gardner accompanied his friend, Geoffrey Hodson, to the same garden in Cottingley in August 1921, where Frances and Elsie had spent their childhood. The girls did not have any more photographs, but Hodson was psychic and he realized that fairies exist there everywhere.

Sima Humboldt

Kedareshwar Cave Temple

This temple is built in the Ahmednagar district of India and is considered quite mysterious. The temple has a big Shiva Linga whose height is five feet from the base, and which is completely surrounded by water. It is a quite ancient temple famous mainly for its pillars built around the Shiva Linga to support the cave, three out of the four pillars are broken, while only one is left, the other three pillars are hanging in the air. During the rains, the cave is completely filled with water, but even after the end of the rainy season, one or two feet deep water always remains in the temple which is also quite cold. There are many beliefs about this temple among people living near or far.

Inverted Cone-Shaped Structures 

Singapore is particularly known for its amazing architecture which has many beautiful structures, there is one such structure that is not very famous but it should have been famous. This is a fairly futuristic structure located near Tampines Road. These inverted cone-shaped structures are actually water storage tanks made of concrete, used to hold 8,448 cubic meters of Newater (water recycled from waste treated to become drinking quality water) each. When you get a glimpse of them, they appear to be two giant UFOs, resting on a grassy slope and waiting to take off at any time. Measuring 43m in diameter at the top, these elevated water tanks, make up the Tampines Newater Service Reservoir, maintained by the national water agency PUB (Public Utilities Board).

Manila Film Center (Philippines)

Although it doesn't look like typical scary places, but still it is counted among the most haunted places in the Philippines, which served as the main theater for the 1982 Manila International Film Festival. Significantly, during construction work in 1981, on November 17, 169 workers were fell and buried under quick-drying cement, in which many died a painful death. It is said that no rescue team had arrived here for about 9 hours after the accident, due to which it became a more tragic event. Many believed that the ghosts of the dead workers still wander here, many people claim to see them and experience their horror.

Hell Fire Club (Ireland)

This haunted building in County Dublin, Ireland was built at the summit of Mount Pelier Hill in 1725. If the stories related to this hunting lodge are to be believed, some very strange incidents have happened here. According to the locals, this place was used exclusively for occult practices and demonic manifestations. The members of the Hell Fire Club used Mount Pelier lodge as a meeting place and they always left a chair vacant at each meeting for the Devil, in the hope that he would attend. The lodge has a reputation for being haunted, especially notably by a giant black cat. Since its construction, the hill has also known by the same name, "The Hell Fire Club". This place is considered one of the scariest places in Ireland.

Lulia Hasdeu Castle (Romania)

This building located in Romania was built by Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu, after the death of her 19-year-old daughter named Iulia Hasdeu. Her father dedicated this castle and his entire life to Iulia and became a spiritualist. Some people believed that Lulia's father designed this castle with a helping hand from his deceased daughter's spirit as if her spirit had called out from beyond the grave, describing the castle’s design. It is said that Iulia's father used to contact her spirit in a room in this building and the entire room was furnished for such endeavors. Some claimed that even today, Iulia’s ghost wanders in the property during the night in a white dressing gown and plays painful music on the piano.

The Princess Theatre (Australia)

In this theater, on the evening of 3 March 1888, an Italian singer Frederick Baker died on stage due to a heart attack while performing. After that incident, the theater has experienced several ghost sightings as many have claimed to have seen a ghostly figure in evening dress in the theater. For many years when any performance took place in this theater, a seat was always reserved for Frederick in his honor. One such anecdote is also associated with Baba Harbhajan Singh, a former soldier of India, for whom even today a chair is left vacant in every flag meeting between India and China so that his spirit can attend that meeting.

Beechworth Asylum (Australia)

Beechworth Asylum was a mental hospital located in Beechworth, a town of Victoria, Australia, which was in service from 1868 to 1995, and closed after 128 years of continuous operation. This hospital had availability of 1200 beds, which means about 1200 patients could stay here altogether. In the 128-years history of this asylum, around 3000 patients have died within its walls. It has also been heard that the presence of the spirits of all those dead people still wandering in this hospital, which is probably why people are afraid to come here. Beechworth Asylum is now counted among the most haunted buildings in Australia as it has been reported for experiencing many ghost sightings from time to time.

The Butterfly effect - A small change can make much bigger changes happen

The topic we are going to talk about today is a theory that is continually working all over the world, but hardly any of us have paid attention to this theory so closely. Edward Lorenz, an American mathematician, stated in his theory that even the smallest event in the world is capable of turning into a big effect. And if all the things in the world are seen as waves, then a small change in a single wave automatically changes the equation of all the other waves and this theory is called chaos theory or butterfly effect. Explaining his theory, Edward Lorenz said that the world is so interconnected that if a butterfly flaps its wings in Brazil, it can cause a major tornado in Texas. Although he only said this to explain his theory, actually, he meant that an element equal to the air produced by the wings of a butterfly can also cause a large effect over time. So today we will try to understand these things about the Butterfly Effect and with the help of some real-life incidents, we will also be able to know how everything in the world is interlinked with each other.

1. On June 7, 1893, Mahatma Gandhi took a ticket for the first-class compartment of the train from Durban to Pretoria. But when he boarded the train, he was forced to leave the first-class compartment because of racial discrimination. As a result, he had to spend the whole night in the cold weather at the Pietermaritzburg station. This incident disturbed and upset Mahatma Gandhi deep inside and he vowed only then that he would oppose the indecency happening to him and his countrymen. This act of standing up against injustice was his first act of civil disobedience and a turning point in Indian history and the rest of the history is known to everyone. Now think for a while, if that train was not going from Durban to Pretoria that day, then probably nothing would have happened that got India independence. Just think if that train incident had not happened, would India have ever been free, this is a question that neither science has ever been able to answer nor will it ever give. But this incident tells us a lot about the butterfly effect, how a small event gives rise to a big occurrence.

2. On 28 September 1918, during the war between Germany and Britain, a wounded young German soldier came into the firing range of a soldier named Henry Tandey. If Henry Tandey wanted to, he could have easily shot the wounded soldier and killed him, but he did not do so and let the young soldier go. The name of that injured soldier was "Adolf Hitler". If Henry Tandey had fired that day, neither Hitler would have gone so far, and neither the Nazi Party would have risen, nor millions of people would have lost their lives. If millions of those people were not killed by Hitler, many of them would probably be able to give the world a beautiful future. So we can assume 'wrong mercy' as the biggest reason behind this incident in which a soldier showed his mercy on another soldier and let him go.

All these examples tell us that the Butterfly effect exists everywhere and this also proves that even a small action can cause a very big reaction. And any work done by you or a decision taken by you can change the lives of different people around the world. But what if the major factors are removed from an event, then what is to happen will happen or not. Maybe this is why it is said that it was destined to be. Perhaps humans will never be able to find the answer to this question, but it is a hundred percent true that the butterfly effect does its work.

These beautiful lights appear to be moving from the ground to the sky, which looks like the pillars of light. This view is so amazing that for a moment someone forgets that he is a part of today's pollution-ridden world. But this phenomenon is not a divine event, scientists have found out the reason for this occurrence. According to them, these light pillars are visible in cold weather at such places where there is the presence of snow. Actually, there are small particles of ice present in our atmosphere, known as ice crystals and when some kind of light spreads in the atmosphere, the light collides with these ice particles to create a miraculous effect, due to which these light pillars are formed. This atmospheric optical phenomenon seems to be consists of a vertical beam of light that appears to extend above or below a light source.
