What is Mind ?
Mind is something that gives you the ability to think. Whenever you think about something it happens only with the help of mind because without mind you cannot think. You can make your own world with the help of mind. In simple words you can say that mind is a colllection of thoughts whether negative thoughts or positive thoughts. Without mind there is no thought.
Powers of Mind
Imagination
Imagination is a that power of mind in which a person can assume that kind of things which actually do not exist or not yet occured. With the help of this power of mind you can make your own world which actually do not exist in reality. But this is much needed power for everyone because whenever you decide to do something in your life whether it is about your education, your job, your marriage and many more things. You firstly make a image of that thing in your mind in the form of imagination.
e.g, Suppose a man wants to make a house. Firstly he will imagine how his house should look like. He will make a picture of that house in his mind and then he will take the forward step.
Concentration
As we know, mind is a collection of thoughts. You may have many thoughts at once. Then how will you deal with it if you have to choose only one thought among all thoughts. To deal with this problem another power of mind comes into existance and that power is called Concentration. The main motive of this power is to focus on only one thought at one time.
e.g, Suppose there are many balloons hanging on a wall in front of a person and that person has to hit only one balloon at a time. what will that person do. Firstly he will choose one balloon among all of those balloons and then he will focus on that one balloon to hit correctly.
Meditation
Meditation is a practice in which your mind becomes very calm and you feel free from all kind of thoughts. The meditative mind offers more freedom and fewer restrictions. The state of meditation focuses on the present which is the act itself. The goal of meditation is to reach self-realization, prolonged awareness, and not control or any desired effect.

Intuition

It is the inner power to make any decision, action, operation and execution of any purpose or function inspite of inner resistance, inconvenience or difficulty. It appears in the form of internal perseverance, determination.
Self-Discipline
This internal power appears as the ability to give quick satisfaction in favor of something better, but it requires time and effort to achieve it. Despite difficulties and obstacles, there is a person's ability to stick to actions, thoughts and behaviors that lead to improvement and success.
Persistence
It is so easy to stop and give up, when your plan does not start as expected, or takes more time to complete. Despite difficulties, obstacles and failure, persistence appears to be in the form of internal strength.
Detachment
It has the ability to maintain peace at the emotional and mental level, unaffected and undisturbed by what people say or do, this ability saves a lot of trouble, anxiety, fear and anxiety, and helps you not to take things too personally.
