Is Time Travel Really Possible? Theory Of Relativity, Bhagavata Purana - Time Travel Of Revati To Marry Balarama

100 years ago world-famous scientist Albert Einstein explained how time works in reality which he named relativity, and this theory says that both time and space are related to each other. Einstein used to say that our universe has a speed limit which is the speed of light, nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, but now you must be wondering what connection it can have with time travel. Well, according to this theory, the faster you travel, the less time you experience, on which scientists have also done many experiments and this theory has always been proved correct. One experiment was such that two clocks were taken in which the exact time was set and one of them was placed on the earth and the other clock was sent in the sky with the help of a plane in the direction of rotation of the earth. When the plane returned after circling the Earth, the two clocks were compared, which showed that the plane's clock was running one second behind the clock on Earth, proving that time travel is possible.

If we look in the old texts, we find several traces of time travel. Time travel is not a new thing in Hindu religious texts and stories, as we have been hearing these stories for thousands of years, whereas it is a new thing in the Western world. You might know this story, but for those who do not know, let us narrate this story. There was a beautiful princess named Revati who was the only daughter of King Kakudmi. Revati was not just an ordinary beautiful girl, she was a talented girl with good qualities, virtuous, full of modesty. But when Revati grew up and became able for marriage, King Kakudmi started worrying about his daughter. The king felt that no man was suitable for his extraordinary daughter. As a result, the king decided to go to Brahmaloka with his daughter Revati, as he hoped that only Brahma could suggest a suitable groom for Revati.

As decided, he took his daughter to Brahmaloka, where he went to Brahma to seek advice for his daughter's marriage. He had to wait for a while to meet Brahma, but when he met Brahma, he told Brahma that I had searched for many men for my daughter, but I could not find one such person who is truly capable for my daughter. 

On that Brahma laughed and said that all the men whom you had tested for the marriage of your daughter are dead and along with them their family and the next many generations have also died. Brahma explained to the king that time varies everywhere, and the speed of time is different in different places of the universe. In the amount of time you spent waiting for me, 27 yugas have passed on the earth. That means all the wealth and empires you had, all of them have ended with the time. Now you are the only remaining father and daughter, and you have to marry your daughter soon.

King Kakudmi was completely stunned to know all this and became confused. Brahma consoled and told the king that in the present situation Lord Vishnu himself is present on earth in the form of Lord Krishna and Balarama, and currently, there is only one man on earth worthy for your daughter and that is Lord Krishna's brother Balarama.

After this, King Kakudmi came to earth with the daughter Revati and upon coming to earth, he was very surprised. According to him, it took only some time for him to return but now the form of the whole earth has changed. The weather, atmosphere, and texture of the earth were no longer the same and there had been a huge change in the qualities, size, and intelligence of human beings, as they were no longer as powerful and tall as they were before. At the same time, their intelligence and spirituality have also declined significantly.
