The Akkerman fortress located in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Ukraine is quite beautiful as tourists walk around it during the day, but they remain unaware of how many mysterious creatures reside beneath this historical and architectural monument. Beneath the fort lies a vast labyrinth or a maze of underground passageways which is said to be inhabited by creatures with horns on their heads. These entities cannot tolerate sunlight and neither do they tolerate humans. Since ancient times, there have been reports of sightings of some hybrid mystical beings who neither live on earth nor live in the astral world.
These beings are believed to have been rejected from both worlds, so they live in the intermediate realm of the two worlds, from where they can appear at certain places on earth and this underground labyrinth is one such place. Since when this fortress was built in ancient times, sightings of these creatures have been occurring to date. In the 16th century, a Turkish traveler was exploring this fortress, when the tunnels below were opened due to some construction work. He claimed to have seen super-stinky entities at night that were tall, hairy, with horns on their heads.
In the book named Legends of the ancient city, the author described his encounter with these horned beings. He explained that he was walking through the water body nearer to the fortress at night when some teenagers were also there enjoying fishing. But suddenly there appeared some strange beings who were freely wandering on the fortress wall, with horns on their heads, which were witnessed by almost everyone present there.
Another person also claimed to have seen a similar creature that plucked all the apples in his garden. People surrounding this area claim that these beings make strange howling sounds at night and sometimes even come out by opening the underground entrance. Along with horned people, some even claimed to have seen a cat with horns on its head.
