Kibber - The Highest Motorable Village in the World

Everyone is crazy about the relaxed and natural beauty of the villages. You too must have visited many villages till now but we are telling you about such a village which is the highest village in the world. The beautiful village of Kibber is believed to be the highest motorable village in the world. This scenic village is situated in Spiti Valley of Himachal Pardesh at 4270 meters above sea level, in which all the houses are made of stone instead of mud or adobe brick used extensively elsewhere in the Spiti Valley. Apart from this, Tabo Gompa, which is more than 1000 years old, is also made of stone. Even today, if people build houses in this village, they are also of stone. All the houses in the village have been made so beautiful that it seems as if someone has settled in another world. All the houses are of white color and their uniformity fascinates everyone when viewed from a distance. About 400 people live here and the local residents say that the secret behind building stone houses in the village is that these houses remain cool in summer and warm in winter. They say that these houses are so strong that to date the people of the village have not seen any house collapsing.

High altitude and pollution-free surroundings make Kibber a great destination for nature and adventure lovers. The village is located 20 kilometers from Kaza and it also contains a monastery and the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary is home to the red fox, ibex, blue sheep, Tibetan woolly hare, Himalayan wolf, lynx, pika, the snow leopard, and Tibetan wild ass. There are many other nearby villages such as Komic, Hikkim, and Langza which look similar and can be reached easily from Kibber. During the snowfall, the temperature drops below freezing point in winter, so most of the people of these villages shifts to warmer locations.

Kibber village, about 430 kilometers from Shimla, is known for its scenic landscape and numerous Buddhist Monasteries. The monastery built in Kibber stands on the highest point in the village. Key Monastery, which is the most important Buddhist pilgrimage in Spiti Valley, is located close to Kibber. On the way here, you will find snow frozen in different places, the tourists find themselves in a new world amidst the amazing natural landscapes, unique culture, unique traditions, and Buddhist monasteries. Various forms of nature are also seen in this village of Gompas and monasteries. Sometimes the sunshine sliding in the valleys and the crops swinging in the fields refresh your soul and mind. Somewhere in the valley, there is a snowy desert, and somewhere there are glittering lakes in the snowy peaks.

Hollow Moon Theory - Some Amazing Facts About Moon

The Moon is very beautiful which revolves around the Earth as its only permanent natural satellite and has been with the Earth since its beginning. We did not know anything about the moon before, but Apollo 11 was the first mission that helped humans to step on the moon for the first time, after which many theories have been formulated which try to explain many mysteries of the moon. Among the many theories about the moon, there is a theory called the Hollow Moon Theory or the Hollow Moon hypothesis which proposes that Earth's Moon is either wholly hollow or otherwise contains a substantial interior space. Between 1972 and 1977, seismometers (an instrument that responds to ground motions) installed on the Moon by the Apollo missions recorded moonquakes, and during those few quakes the moon was described as "ringing like a bell". But this topic was brought to popular attention when Apollo 12 deliberately crashed the ascent stage of its Lunar Module onto the Moon's surface and claimed that the Moon rang like a bell for an hour, arguing that it would be hollow like a bell. These experiments have shown that the lunar body has shallow moonquakes that act differently from quakes on Earth.

Now you know about the moon being hollow, but many years have passed, how the moon came into existence, no scientist has fully explained it. There are three theories have been proposed for the formation of the Moon. The first theory proposes that the Moon was once part of the Earth and somehow separated from the Earth by a fission process early in the history of the solar system. The second theory was that the moon was formed at the same time as the earth as a sort of twin planet. However, if the moon formed in the vicinity of the earth it should have nearly the same composition, but it does not, the composition of the moon and the earth is very different, the surface of the moon and its inner part is very different from the earth. The third theory proposes that once a round solid body was passing close to the earth in the space, then it was captured by earth’s gravity and since then it started moving around the earth. But the moon is just four times smaller than the Earth, and if we talk about the size of the moon, it is practically impossible for the Earth to pull a passing body towards itself that is much larger than any type of asteroid. Scientifically, Earth will comfortably pull the asteroid towards itself, but cannot pull the moon. Therefore, many scientists also believe that the Moon is a natural satellite that is not completely true. They believe that maybe aliens are responsible for the creation of the moon.

The 2012 Kermadec Islands pumice raft - A floating island that suddenly appeared in the ocean

Pumice is created when super-heated, highly pressurized rock is violently ejected from a submarine volcano. When the hot lava of the volcano mixes with water, a strange eruption occurs and due to this, the parts of the rock of that volcano are shattered and their property is such that they can float in water. A pumice raft is a floating raft of pumice created by some eruptions of submarine volcanoes. This mystery was solved, but strangely, all the rocks came together to create such a coincidence that it started to look like an island and that too of the size of the whole country. The pumice raft measured approximately 480 kilometers in length and more than 48 kilometers in width, making the floating island larger in surface area than Israel. Biologists suggest that animals and plants have migrated from island to island on pumice rafts. This strange incident was produced by a submarine volcano called the Havre Seamount in the Kermadec Islands north of New Zealand, which was not initially noticed by scientists. They were not aware that any eruption had occurred until a huge pumice raft was sighted and photographed.

Project A119 - A top-secret plan by the US to detonate a nuclear bomb on the Moon

The United States, the world's most powerful country, had ever planned to blow up the moon with a nuclear bomb. This may sound strange, but it is true. The project was named Project A119, which was a top-secret plan developed by the United States Air Force in 1958. The main purpose of Project A119 was to detonate a nuclear bomb on the moon, which would help in answering some of the mysteries in planetary astronomy. However, this highly confidential mission was canceled primarily and never carried out. The Air Force believed that if this mission failed, its consequences would be very bad for the people of Earth. This project was also known as "A Study of Lunar Research Flights", which was prepared under a highly confidential mission. According to the plan, the gases present there, including dust and soil, were to be tested by exploding on the moon. This task was assigned to a young astronomer, Carl Sagan, who was part of the team responsible for predicting the effects of nuclear explosions in vacuum and low gravity and in evaluating the scientific value of the project. The existence of this American project was revealed in 2000 by Leonard Reiffel, a former NASA executive who led the project in 1958.

It was the height of the Cold War, the Soviet Union took an early lead in the Space Race with the launch of Sputnik 1 on 4 October 1957, which was the inspiration for the beginning of the Space Race. The US was losing after the Soviets launched their first satellite. To avoid losing the space race, the US went into scramble mode and launched a satellite of its own, Explorer 1. Then it assembled a team of the best to figure out how to blow up the Moon. To implement this plan, the US supposed to send a missile from Earth to the moon, which would travel about 238,000 miles and detonate the nuclear bomb on the moon. For this, Scientists initially considered using a hydrogen bomb for the project but they had chosen the atom bomb instead of the hydrogen bomb because of the weight of the hydrogen bomb, as it would be too heavy to be propelled by the missile. But this mission of scientists was completely rejected by the US Air Force. According to them if this mission was not successful, it would affect the earth badly.

After breaking his monastic vows, the monk was sentenced to death by being walled up alive. To avoid this harsh punishment and attempting to save his own life, he promised that he would write a book complete with all of the world’s human knowledge in exchange for his freedom. The catch was that he only had one night to complete it. Around midnight, he was sure that he could not complete this task alone, so he offered a special prayer that was for the devil, not for God. He called on the Devil to help complete the book in exchange for his soul. The monk added the devil's picture in the middle of the book out of gratitude for his aid. Many people believe that the book was completed by Devil, especially those last ten pages were written by Devil himself. Later, it happened that someone removed and stole those ten pages written by the devil and now who has that secret knowledge, no one knows if he is using it in the right way or wrong way.

2. The Grand Grimoire

Tunnel No.33 (The Barog Tunnel), Shimla - The Story Behind the Haunted Tunnel

Shimla is a beautiful hill station but while you are busy admiring the natural beauty of this gorgeous city, there is something else that will immediately catch your attention. There is a tunnel in Shimla, called tunnel number 33, from where the train passes and with a length of 1143.61 m, it is the longest tunnel in the Kalka - Shimla Railway. It is also known as "The Barog Tunnel", which was named after a British Railway Engineer during the 19th century. Barog station is immediately after the tunnel. Trains take about 2.5 minutes to cross this tunnel, running at 25 kilometers per hour. This longest tunnel is a popular tourist spot and is known for a very interesting story.

The Barog tunnel was built more than 100 years ago. The tunnel project was taken by Colonel Barog, who was a British railway engineer, who was a British Railway Engineer. He had signed the contract and the last date was also decided that by this date he would have to complete this project. He was a very talented engineer, but was facing a lot of difficulty in this project and was not able to manage the project properly. Colonel Barog committed a mistake of boring the tunnel from both ends of the mountain, which is quite common as it speeds up construction. The workers kept on boring from both ends but did not meet even after crossing the center of the mountain. But after several attempts by the crew, Colonel realized that due to his miscalculations, the alignments of the tunnel had gone wrong, and both the ends of the tunnel could not meet. But when he could not complete the project on time, the British government fined him a huge amount of money and this incident ended the career of Barog. On top of his already existing money problems, there was another terrible fine and due to this incident he went into depression and that depression was so bad that he gave his life.

He committed suicide somewhere around this half-built tunnel, and due to his unexpected death, the residents of Shimla say that his soul still lives in this tunnel, a tunnel whose half part he constructed by himself, but he did not get anything in return, but only death. The tunnel work was finally completed in September 1903 and was named to show respect to Colonel Barog. After Barog's death, voices were often heard there, but locals say that he is a friendly ghost. And today, we all know that the Kalka - Shimla railway track was given World Heritage status by UNESCO.

Nazca Lines, Peru - A Shocking Feat Of Ancient Artwork

As we know that the world is full of many mysterious facts, but there are some mysteries that are still surprising people in their remarkable way. Today we will introduce you to a wonderful place which has been a mystery for many centuries. The Nazca Desert of Peru is famous for the world's most unique and unknown mysterious lines, known as Nazca Lines. These are a group of countless lines and shapes that are extremely large and are believed to have been created by the Nazca culture in between 500 BC and 500 AD. These lines are known as geoglyphs - drawings on the ground typically formed by clastic rocks. The individual figurative geoglyph designs measure between 0.4 and 1.1 km across. These lines and shapes have been created by engraving the ground, some of them are simple lines but many of the shapes represent geometric patterns, animals, birds and humans. The combined length of all the lines is over 1,300 km, and the group cover an area of about 50 sq km. These mysterious figures are so large in size that when viewed from the ground, they appear to be only minor lines, but when viewed from the sky, the existence of these pictures is revealed. Peruvian archaeologist Toribio Mejia Xesspe spotted Nazca Lines in 1926 while he was hiking through the foothills and he was the first to systematically study the lines.

Nazca lines were included in UNESCO's 'World Heritage List' in 1994. There are over 800 straight lines, 300 geometric figures and 70 animal and plant designs, also called biomorphs. Some of the straight lines run up to 30 miles, while the biomorphs range from 50 to 1200 feet in length. The lines are typically 10 to 15 cm deep. What would be the biggest reason or secret of the making of these lines and geometric shapes, no one knows, and without any air support in 500 BC, how these large lines and shapes would have been etched on the ground. A big question is also that when there was no means or technology to fly in the air at that time, then why did the Nazca people create such big pictures which can be seen only from the sky. Were there aliens involved in it? A long line found here seems like an airport runway, which further deepens the mystery of Nazca Lines. Did those people make such pictures for their god or was there someone else they wanted to please or give some kind of signal? Did they know about another world that was watching them from the sky? These are some questions whose answers have not been found till date and as much as the mystery of Nazca lines has been tried to solve, it seems even more complicated.
