The Indian actor Vicky Kaushal's starring movie, Bhoot: The Haunted Ship was based on a haunted ship, named Seabird inspired by real story, but the film story and the real story of the ship are quite different. Because the movie was made more interesting by changing the storyline to give the film an entertaining and horrifying experience. First, let us tell you the fact that the real incident on which people think this film is based, is not actually true. Because the movie is said to have inspired by MV Wisdom, a giant cargo ship that was suddenly appeared on the Juhu beach in Mumbai in 2011.
What really happened was that in the year 2011, a ship suddenly arrived at the Juhu beach in Mumbai named MV Wisdom, with no person boarded on it. All were shocked how it suddenly appeared there and the crowd started gathering there for knowing the mystery. Later the authorities made it clear that this ship was being taken from Colombo to the Alang shipyard in Gujarat due to its engine failure. But then, the cable to its tow-boat collapsed, causing it to drift aimlessly towards Mumbai, resulting in getting stuck at Juhu Beach. This was the complete explanation this incident had.
Now, let's know what is the real story behind the mystery of Ghost Ship Seabird. It is about the year 1750, that is, almost over two centuries ago, when a merchant ship named Sea-Bird arrived at Easton Beach, Rhode Island, United States. The fishermen and the rest of the people saw the ship coming there, and even after a long time, when no one came out of the ship, many kinds of questions started to arise in their minds. When they began to look at the ship carefully, they came to know that there was not a single person on the deck of the ship. Then they decided to enter the ship and find out what the real scene is.
As soon as they entered the ship and saw the entire scene, they were stunned, as there was not a single hope of any person to be found, since there was neither a captain nor any crew member. Surprisingly, when they moved further, they could not see anyone on the whole ship as living forms except a dog and a cat. The condition of the vessel looked as if people were present there a moment before and suddenly disappeared somewhere even during daylight hours in fair weather. They found coffee was boiling on the stove, and the fresh tobacco smoke could be smelled, the breakfast table was ready and the things were so arranged as if someone had just organized everything a moment ago.
The Seabird ship was parked in such a way that there was no sign of any accident or robbery or any other violent activity, so the question arises as to how this ship suddenly appeared there. There was another thing that was missing from the ship along with the people and that was a ship's rescue free-fall lifeboat. it was being considered that perhaps the captain and other crew members had fled the ship, but no one had confirmed to see them running away.
Even assuming they had escaped from there, but the question is what they had actually seen on the ship that they suddenly had to flee from there without informing anyone. When people inquired deeply about this ship, they came to know that the captain of this ship was John Durham, who was returning from a place called Honduras and going back to Newport that day. It was also heard that John was a very brave captain but after this incident, neither the captain nor any crew member was reported alive. How, when, and where they have disappeared, this question still remains a mystery today.
There are mainly three stories about what happened to the seabird ship afterward, the first story being that a week later, the ship suddenly disappeared from the beach by swept off in a storm leaving no debris behind and was never seen again, and the second is that a merchant named Henry Collins bought it and changed its name from Sea Bird to Beach Bird. The third story depicted that it was a haunted ship that has no explanation. But which one of these stories is true, no one knows.
There are many real ships in history whose origin is unknown, with having no crew found, there is no explanation of all such incidents. A few of such mysterious ghost ship incidents are named Flying Dutchman and Ourang Medan. In history, many such ships have been named as haunted ships or ghost ships, but in which ship the actual paranormal activities exist, it is very difficult to answer.
