A beautiful and remarkable school has been built in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan which, despite being situated in the desert region, remains cool from inside, without any AC. This is quite similar to the pyramid technique of spreading coolness on the inside, as the pyramids have such interior building design in which air and moisture enter in such a way, resulting in making its internal temperature always being constant and needed no requirement of any AC, which helps it to act as a natural AC.
One such school named the Rajkumari Ratnavati Girls School has been built in which there is no AC inside, but still, it remains cool and normal, even in the middle of the desert. It is one of the most extraordinary schools in India and the region where this building is located, the temperature there rises up to 50 degrees Celsius, but this building also converts it to normal temperature, as the air and light enter in such a way that there is always remain coolness from inside.
This project was funded by CITTA which is a USA-based non-profit organization and the building was designed by New York-Based Architect Diana Kellogg. The land on which the school is built is owned by Manvendra Singh Shekhawat who is the owner of the Suryagarh Palace hotel and a director for CITTA Foundation India, who donated this land for the purpose of girls education and women’s skill-building and economic development center.
The best thing is that the school is built, the facility is being provided to everyone, but it has become one of its own kind schools in India. If you look at the design of this building consciously, then you will find the computer studies, computer centers, library, and many other facilities are available in it. This school was to be opened recently but the condition of the world which is going on now due to corona, so it has been delayed.
The most amazing thing is that very few people know about this school and when it will be open only then it might come in mainstream news.
